Le Nguyen Khang's Achilles is a stunning wooden car and finely crafted with fine quality lumber. Made of ash, xylia xylocarpa and walnut, the wooden vehicle's exterior is adorned with amazing carvings including the logo of Khang's company and some traditional emblems.
The idea to create such a unique car evolved after a conversation with an English friend who joikingly asked him to make a wooden car. It took more than a year to complete the car and Achilles has become a sensation in Ho Chi Minh city.
The 1.5 ton car is powered by BMW engine that gives a top speed of 60 kmph. Khang is willing to sell his masterpiece and will donate the proceeds to a charity. For convenience Khang has used a number plate that contains his phone number so that buyers can easily reach him.
