Adidas’ “Jabulani” is the official match ball for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa. The meaning of “Jabulani” is “to celebrate” in isiZulu, features a South African inspired design and new technology.
2. 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany – Teamgeist
Adidas’ “Teamgeist” is the official soccer ball exclusively produced for the final match in the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Berlin. The name of the ball has an implied meaning of teamwork and group spirit.
3. 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan – Fevernova
Adidas’ Fevernova football was used as the official ball of the 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea and Japan. The golden-red flames represent the enormous efforts and energy the two Asian hosts put in the game.

Azteca, which was hand-sewn, used for the first time synthetic material instead of leather. Its elaborately decorated design was inspired by the host Mexico’s native Aztec architecture and culture.
8. 1982 FIFA World Cup Spain – Tango EspanaThe Tango Espana was made of genuine leather. A rubber inlaid was put over the seams to prevent water from seeping through the ball, which made it the first water-resistant match ball.
