1. The world’s most rare fungus – the devil’s cigar
This is the star in the mushroom, called "the devil’s cigar," which is also the world’s most rare fungus. It’s also called the "Texas Star", because this fungus has been found only in central Texas (just recently found in the mountains of Nara, Japan). Usually, it has a dark brown cigar shaped cap; when it releases the spores, it will become stars alike in the image.

2. Brain mushroom (Morel Mushrooms, Gyromitra Esculenta)
The fungus is widely distributed in Europe and North America. It appears in the spring and early summer, it generally grows in the sandy soil under the pine trees. Its irregular brain shape, color is generally dark brown, about 10 cm high, 15 cm wide
3. Blood tooth fungus (Bleeding Tooth Fungus Hydnellum peckii)
The fungus is common in the United States, particularly in the Pacific Northwest, also usually grows in the pine forest. It is also been found in Europe, has recently been found in Iran and South Korea.
4. Calvatia
The size of typical specimen is similar to the football, but not so round. However, it is bigger than football (currently the largest found is 5 feet long and weight of 50 pounds!)
5. Turkey tail (Coriolus versicolor)
Coriolus versicolor, also called the "turkey tail", has a very easily recognizable features.
6. Entoloma hochstetteri
Sky blue mushroom is found in New Zealand and India
7. Hericium erinaceus
The mushroom is noodle alike which has many names, such as the lion mane mushroom, Hericium, hedgehog mushrooms, etc.
In the late summer and autumn, it is very common, and usually grows in decaying hardwood, especially in the United States on the beech.
8. Dog Stinkhorn
It grows in the forest and its head is black.
9. Mycena chlorophos
This fluorescent mushroom is usually seen during the rainy season in forests of Japan and Brazil, and they are also covered the ground with glittering spores.
10. Amanita (Amanita muscaria) – the world’s most famous mushroom
This umbrella fungus is highly toxic fungus of neurotoxicity
In popular culture, the Amanita is the most common. They often appear in children’s books, movies, decorations, greeting cards and computer games. In "Alice in Wonderland", the classic game "Super Mario", you will not be surprised to find their presence.
