Originally derived from the Finnish Sami knife, used by the Laplanders for all their hunting and bushcraft tasks. These knives have traditionally been flat ground single or double sided, ground to the edge or "zero ground edge.
It occurred to us that a good idea is still a good idea in a smaller package. The "Mini Scandi" was a result of the very popular original Brothers of Bushcraft (BOB) knife.
All the advantages of a Scandi grind in a neck knife/small sheath knife, just more concealable.
